Levana Original – Unscented
My Original bar offers you a luxurious blend with generous amounts of rich cocoa butter, shea butter, and other nourishing oils. I kept the recipe simple using no additives, colors, or fragrance– making an indulgent soap with no complications.
So where does the “Original” name come from? Well, this is where my entire soaping adventure began. Yes, this is the first soap recipe I ever put together or made. I wanted it to have plenty of nourishing ingredients, but also lots of bubbles. Before even attempting it, I spent a long time researching everything about making soap! Taking tips and advice from a family member who had been making soap for years, and all the other soap makers online, both professionals and hobbyists.
I wanted to make sure I did it right.
I was so excited when all my studying and research paid off. My soap came out exactly the way I wanted it to– a firm bar with a beautiful creamy-light color, and a sudsy lather! I could not have been happier. Having such a positive first experience really made me fall in love with the craft of soapmaking.
We handcraft all our cold process soaps in small batches right here in Belton, MO, to ensure a product made with care. In every batch, we use rich ingredients, for a soap that cleanses gently, and pampers your skin.
You will receive one bar of soap, unless you specify otherwise. Each bar weighs between 4.5oz and 5oz. As our soap bars are crafted, poured and cut by hand, each bar will vary slightly in design and weight. Soap bars will naturally lose weight as they continue to cure (dry out). This is normal and improves the quality of the bar.
Ingredients:
Saponified oils of: Olive oil, palm oil (ethically and sustainably sourced, from a supplier who is part of the Rountable on Sustainable Palm Oil/RSPO), coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, castor oil.
Care And Storage Of Your Soap Bar
We care about your experience with our products, so here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your soap bar:
Store all soap bars in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Allow the bar to dry out completely between uses. You can do this by placing it on a surface where it can drain, such as a soap tray, or shower rack. Do not leave the bar where it will stay wet when not in use. The more the bar dries out between uses, the better the quality of lather it will have. Drying out will also make the bar harder, so it will last longer.
